CAMDEN COUNTY, Mo. — The Federal Bureau of Investigation last night descended in force on the Camden County Courthouse, seizing computer equipment as part of an ongoing investigation.
Electronic communications and networks have been deliberately severed since Monday, impacting online communications and the phone system for the courthouse. The day-to-day operations of the courthouse have been substantially disrupted.
The county commission has put the entire IT department, four employees in total, on administrative leave. There have been no announcements about any employee terminations.
