CAMDEN COUNTY, Mo. — Charges are pending for the owners of multiple animals that were found dead and poor medical condition near Climax Springs, on Wednesday.

The Camden County Sheriff's Office says on Sept. 23, deputies responded to the area in reference to an animal control call. Upon arrival, deputies reportedly located multiple animals without food or water and in poor medical condition. Further investigation led deputies to the discovery of multiple deceased animals.

The sheriff's office says deputies were able to locate the owner from out of the area and the remaining animals were relinquished to the Humane Society. Charges are pending on the owners of the animals at this time.
