CAMDEN COUNTY, Mo. — A local woman was killed in a crash on westbound Highway 54, Thursday evening.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 25-year-old Bethany Wall, of Macks Creek, was driving a 2017 Dodge Journey westbound on Highway 54 when she crashed into the back of a 2005 Freightliner, east of Carroll Cut Thru, around 5:18 p.m.
Wall was pronounced dead at the scene and her body was taken to Hedges Scott Funeral Home. She was a manager at the Camdenton McDonald’s restaurant, according to a friend, and had a young child with a birthday coming up.
For Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop F, this was the fourth fatality of December, and the 25th fatality of 2017. Troop F serves the following 13 counties in Central Missouri: Audrain, Boone, Callaway, Camden, Cole, Cooper, Gasconade, Howard, Miller, Moniteau, Montgomery, Morgan, and Osage.
