CAMDEN COUNTY, Mo. — A Richland man was hospitalized with serious injuries on Saturday, following a crash on Highway 7.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 59-year-old James Roberts was driving a 1999 Chevrolet Silverado northbound on Route 7, when at around 8:55 p.m., the vehicle went off the right side of the road. Roberts reportedly overcorrected, and the truck ran off the left side of the road, hit a bridge, and overturned. Roberts was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, the Patrol says.
The truck was totaled and Roberts sustained serious injuries. He was flown by MU Air Care to University Hospital for treatment.
