CAMDEN COUNTY, Mo. — Two people were hospitalized after a crash on Highway 5, Saturday morning.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred when a 2015 Honda CRV driven by 68-year-old Cynthia Gasca, of Camdenton, was at Harvest Road, at the intersection with Highway 5. The CRV pulled into the path of a southbound 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan driven by 80-year-old James Steiner. The Grand Caravan crashed into the CRV, resulting in serious injuries for James Steiner and moderate injuries for his wife, 73-year-old Judith Steiner.
Both were taken by ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital for treatment. The CRV was totaled and the Grand Caravan had extensive damage.
