OSAGE BEACH, Mo. – Walls are up, the roof is nearly done, and Lake of the Ozarks' Old Navy is slated to open in the spring.
According to Old Navy's corporate office, the store is scheduled to open in April of 2020. "We’re excited to offer our customers a nearby location in the Lake of the Ozarks area, so they can shop all the latest fashions at great prices for the whole family," said Justine Jordan, an Old Navy representative.
Jordan said the completed store will be approximately 12,500 square feet. It is located next to Target, in the Prewitt's Point shopping center in Osage Beach.
Initially a Five Below was rumored to be coming as well, right next to Old Navy. But for now, a spokesperson for Prewitt's Point said currently there are no plans for a Five Below.
Old Navy, named after a bar in Paris, was founded in 1994 by Millard Drexler. The store focuses on trendy but affordable clothing and has enjoyed international success. There are more than 1,000 Old Navy stores worldwide.
