OSAGE BEACH, Mo. — Ducks will fly—or, fall—for local charities at the 10th Annual Bagnell Dam Duck Drop festivities, held Aug. 3 - 4, 2018. The Ozark Coast Kiwanis annually puts on the event.

The fun begins with the Duck Drop Golf Tournament Friday, August 3rd at THE RIDGE golf course with lunch and registration beginning at 1:30 p.m. The Shotgun start is at 3:00 p.m. This "Quacky" 4-person scramble golf tournament will include whimsical twists with crazy holes and fun obstacles placed around the course to test your game and the chance to win additional prizes.

Tournament events and prizes include a Long Putt Contest for $5,000, a Hole-in-One Contest for $25,000 CASH sponsored by Spielers, Inc. and multiple on-course events with prizes. 

The $125 entry fee includes a lunch prior to the tournament, 18 holes of golf including Quacky Holes, a tournament Goody Bag and 10 Duck Drop Tickets per player ($50 value per player and 40 chances per team to win $5,000.


The Duck Drop begins Saturday, Aug. 4 at 10 a.m. with fun and games in the Family Fun Zone. Then at noon, thousands of rubber ducks will be dropped into the Osage River by helicopter and boat on a race across the finish line. Tickets to purchase a duck are only $5 each, or 6 ducks for $20, and they are on sale prior to the Duck Drop and on the morning of the event.

The first-place winner will receive $5,000, and additional cash prizes will be awarded. 

Proceeds from the Duck Drop go to the Ozark Coast Kiwanis Club which supports local organizations such as Kids Harbor, Citizens Against Domestic Violence, the Food Pantry, Lake Area Big Brothers, Big Sisters, Wonderland Camp and many more.
