It all starts from 4-8 p.m., Friday, June 7, with a fun time at the Big Thunder Family Boating Center, where everyone will sign up for the event, pickup maps, t-shirts, eat grilled burgers and hotdogs. Children will enjoy a bounce house, obstacle course, snow cone machine, face painting and more. Check out photos of the cool stuff that's going to be there!

On Saturday, boaters and landlubbers start at 11 a.m., driving to destinations like Camden on the Lake, Franky & Louie's, Dog Days, Redhead Yacht Club, Larry's on the Lake, and ending at 5 p.m. at Captain Ron's.

Kids cards will be drawn at each location for prizes along the way.

"Each stop on Saturday will have prizes for the kids," said Big Thunder General Manager Jeremy Anderson. "We'll have some grand prizes at Captain Ron's at the very end -- a wakeboard package for kids, chill raft, lifejackets, clothing... we're giving away a lot of fun prizes."

All the proceeds will go to Children's Learning Center, Kids' Harbor, Sharing Is Caring, and Citizens Against Domestic Violence.

"All the money raised will benefit charities helping children in the local area," said Shootout Executive Director Christy Janssen.

Oak Star Bank has also generously donated a matching grant to support child victims of the recent tornado that swept through Eldon, Mo.
