The Lodge at Port Arrowhead opened in 1965 as the Holiday Inn at Lake Ozark. It was the first large resort built on Lake Ozark and became an iconic hot spot in the popular resort town. Years later in 2016, after the property had changed hands several times, an ownership group with a strategic vision for the property purchased it closed the property for 10 months to accommodate extensive renovations.
This fall guests will see the results of the multi-million-dollar renovation completed in several phases and touched nearly every facet of the resort. Updates included extensive renovations to all of the 150 guest rooms which now feature modern lines and fresh, comfortable finishes. The Lodge at Port Arrowhead also offers a modern resort-style indoor swimming pool, fitness center, playground, patio deck with intimate fire pit for social gatherings and a meeting and event space for up to 500 people. The resort’s lakeside restaurant Fat Polly’s Pub underwent a complete overhaul and now features a rustic, yet contemporary industrial aesthetic featuring a lakefront staging area that will provide a perfect setting for Great White and the 13th Annual Bikefest.
