MORE INFO:

Nothing warms the heart like a smile. That's exactly why dozens of boat drivers are coming out to Redhead Yacht Club/Performance Boat Center on Aug. 18 and to Captain Ron's on Aug. 22 to give kids and families facing serious illnesses and disabilities a once-in-a-lifetime powerboat ride and put a huge smile on their faces. Parents and siblings are invited to ride along as well!

The event is co-sponsored by SHORE Magazine and Oak Star Bank.

This event gives hope, strength and joy to children and adults with disabilities and serious medical conditions.

“Big-hearted racers bring their boats and give of their time and fuel and they take such good care of each one of the children, and their families, filling their day with fun and making it an unforgettable boat ride experience!” organizer Tiffany Maasen said.
