A Lake of the Ozarks business is inviting all boaters to a unique party on a giant barge, set for July 3 at the 42.6 Mile Marker.
One Source Services, Rock Works and LOZ Hardscape Supply is announcing a new event called “Boogie on the Barge Fireworks Extravaganza.” The party will be showcasing what the company says is the biggest fireworks display at the lake, a 30‐minute professional production by Premier Pyrotechnics which is choreographed to patriotic music combined with favorite Midwest college fight songs to be broadcast by 93.5 ROCKS during the production.
"One Source Services, LLC would like to show their customers, contractors, vendors, and employees their appreciation and invite the public to this amazing 4th of July Event!" the company said in an announcement.
Boaters are welcome to come fly the stars-and-stripes as well as their school flag, wear school colors, and come cove out with friends and family at the 42.6 Mile Marker. The event will include a 3,200-square-foot “Boogie Barge” anchored in Garrison Hollow Cove. The barge will feature a half-court basketball court, dance floor and games. DJ Rusty Cundiff will be rocking the barge from 7–11 p.m. and all participants who Boogie on the Barge will receive a complimentary pair of sunglasses and koozie. Shuttle service to the barge will be available to take boaters to and from their boats. (Note: all children 7 and under will be required to wear a life jacket, and access to the barge will be available to a limited number of people due to health and safety concerns.)
