The world-champion Performance Boat Center/Jimmy John's Skater 388 powerboat will be retired and sold, according to Performance Boat Center.

In a definitive move to “race what they sell,” Performance Boat Center offshore racing team owners Brett Manire and Mark Waddington have decided to campaign a new 42-foot MTI catamaran with their existing cockpit duo of throttleman John Tomlinson and driver Myrick Coil in 2019. Currently in Clearwater, Fla., for tomorrow’s Super Boat International National Championships, the back-to-back defending Superboat-class world championship team, which is based out the full-service powerboat dealership in Osage Beach, Mo., will retire and sell its Skater Powerboats 388 catamaran at the end of the season...
