LAKE OF THE OZARKS, Mo. — On one of the busiest weekends of the year, a boat and pontoon collided on Sunday, Sept. 1, leaving the PWC driver injured.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 25-year-old Toni Hutsell, of Adrian, Mo. was driving a 2006 Yamaha Waverunner around the 8.5 Mile Marker of the Big Niangua arm. At around 6:10 p.m., authorities say Hutsell turned into the path of an eastbound 2000 Maxim runabout driven by 40-year-old Eric Kilgore, of Wentzville, Mo.

The boat crashed into the Waverunner, totaling it. Hutsell sustained moderate injuries in the incident, and was taken by Mercy EMS to Lake Regional Hospital for treatment.
