LAKE OF THE OZARKS, Mo. — A St. Louis man died while riding a Sea Doo, on Saturday evening, on the Niangua Arm of the Lake.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 59-year-old Thomas Moore was riding a Sea Doo behind a family member’s boat, but a little before 6 p.m., the family member noticed the Sea Doo was adrift, with no rider. The Patrol says Moore was “discovered face down in the water.” He was wearing a life jacket, according to the report, and though the specific cause of death was not reported, the Patrol classified the incident as “Person Impacts Watercraft.”
Moore’s body was taken to Hedges-Scott Funeral Home.
